Armitage's World of Horticulture

Dr. Armitage has taken more photos than he can count.  Over his 25 year career, he has photographed almost every annual, perennial, fern, bulb and flower used in gardens and landscapes throughout the world.   Over 4000 photos have been published in magazines and books, on bench cards and plant labels.  All his photos are "real-world", none are taken in a studio.  All are available through his on-line image site.

Approximately 7000 photos are presently on this photo site, more are constantly added as Allan travels the world.  He recently joined forces with Vinnie Simeone, the director of Planting Fields Arboretum on Long Island.  Mr. Simeone has photograhed hundreds of trees and shrubs and downloaded them to the easy-to-use site.

Royalty-free photos are available in high, medium and low resolution for use in posters, magazines, websites or plant labels.
